Nailed It! #2

Spent my lunch break at my desk because it was too hot to be outside, madness! I'm really pleased with how these turned out, although I wish I'd gone for a bright coloured background on my ring finger rather than the white. I used a blue and a yellow stud to match my nails but they look practically identical on the nail.

I don't have a lot of free time to paint my nails, but when I do I love to experiment with nail art. I've seen lot's of versions of strawberry nails over the internet and decided to give it a go, especially after this yummy plate was left on my desk at work!

Lipstick Love

My current favourite lip product is one of the moisture renew lipsticks by Rimmel London in the shade 660 - In Love With Ginger. It's currently £6.49 in Boots here.

It's a wonderfully creamy orangey red, and true to form it does leave my lips feeling moisturised rather than drying up. It lasts relatively well too, I wore this today without any lipliner (oops) and it survived two cups of tea with ease. I did touch up after lunch for a colour refresh, but the product had faded evenly so I could have gotten away with letting it wear off to be honest.

This is the first moisture renew lipstick I've purchased and I'm very impressed, I'll definitely be checking out some of their other shades next time I'm in Boots!

The First Post

So here it is, my first blog post..

I've been reading blogs for quite a few years now and am scarily almost addicted to checking for new posts from my favourite Bloggers and YouTubers on a daily basis. At 25 I felt a little too old for this community, but today I decided "who really cares??" and to go for it anyway.

This is going to be a place for me to ramble on about whatever I'm currently in to. It'll probably be a mixture of makeup, nail art, food and fashion, but I'm also in the process of decorating my house so there'll be a bit of that too, I'm sure.

I guess I'll be treating this rather like a diary until there comes a time when strangers may wish to visit this little portion of the internet, so if you do happen upon my blog please stop a moment to say Hi!
